Founded in 1926, the Chicago Blackhawks began from players from many different teams including the Portland Rosebuds of the Western League. Named after Chief Black Hawk of the Sauk tribe, the ice hockey team has given honor by making its logo in the image of the chief.

Winning their first Stanley Cup in 1934, the Blackhawks have grown in success and fans worldwide. Famous players include Bill Mosienko who scored three goals in the span of 21 seconds against the New York Rangers in 1952, and Bobby Hull who helped develop the curved hockey stick.
